An Observation, on Ownership01.23.09 I set upon Youtube a moment ago in hopes of finding a piano solo of "Clair de Lune" by Claude Debussy. It's a bit of an old song: L 32, Clair de lune: Votre âme est un paysage choisi for voice and piano (1882) One hundred and twenty-six years old, to be precise. I was a bit confused as I sifted through the results to find this upload, which was curiously missing audio. A glance through the comments brought to my attention a notice beneath the video: This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG. The audio has been disabled. Perhaps this will help put the situation into perspective; the musical piece in question predates the first flight of the Wright Brothers. This RIAA bullshit is getting out of hand. | |
Kino's Journey01.20.09 Someone suggested I watch this series back in either 2004 or 2005. I never got around to it, because torrenting was the only option back then. Times have changed, and the dub is on Youtube, in its entirety. I would recommend this link over the embedded player, for fullscreen and high-quality and such. Personally, I love it, and my singular complaint is that the thirteen episodes expire too quickly. Here's an embedded player with the entire playlist. Action isn't the series' primary focus, but it's certainly there at times; I'd recommend giving it at least until the end of the second episode before you make any decisions about it. | |
